Give a Kid Their First Business

For $500, you fund a box of 24 books, $100 in startup money, and a real shot at entrepreneurship for a kid in your community. Can't do $500? You can still chip in.

What Your Sponsorship Funds

The Future Founder Project turns a box of books into a kid's first business. Every sponsorship funds one box for one kid that includes 24 copies of "I Want to Be in Sales When I Grow Up," the book Charlotte wrote with her dad when she was six, plus $100 in startup money to get their business going.

What Your Founder Could Do

Every founder starts the same way, with a first win selling to friends and family. Then they pick one of three tracks to build their real business. Each track is a step-by-step playbook, so no kid is ever stuck wondering what to do next.

The Lemonade Stand

The classic first business, with a twist. Lemonade for a dollar, the book for $20, and a bundle deal on a handmade sign. The startup money buys the supplies, and your founder learns pricing and how to sell face to face with a parent right there.

Be Like Charlie

Door to door, the way Charlie sells cookies in the book. Your founder practices their pitch, maps a route, knocks, and finds out that hearing no is part of the job. This is the track for the kid who wants to do exactly what the story teaches.

The Community Leader

For the kid who thinks bigger than a stand. Your founder organizes a reading event, partners with a local shop, or lands a business sponsor for the next kid's box. They learn leadership by doing it.

Whichever track they choose, every founder picks a Why they are raising money for, gives at least 5 of their 24 books to kids who can't afford one, and writes a thank-you letter to their sponsor with photos from the journey. You see exactly what your $500 started.

Three Ways to Sponsor

Sponsor a Kid You Know
$500.00

Already have a kid in mind? Your niece, your neighbor’s son, a kid on your street? Name your entrepreneur at checkout, and we’ll get them set up with their box and connect the two of you.

Sponsor a Future Founder
$500.00

Don’t have a specific kid in mind? Fund a box for the next kid ready to start in our program, wherever they are. You’ll still get their name, updates, photos, and a thank-you letter once they’re underway.

Don’t want to do a full sponsorship but still want to help?

Every chip-in pools together, and each time the pot hits $500, another kid gets their box. No gift is too small to matter.
